Dorothy M. Breen earned a BA from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and a JD from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.
Dorothy also is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where she received an LL.M. in Estate Planning.
A member of the Florida and Georgia Bars, Dorothy is recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates Lawyer and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America and Florida Super Lawyers since 2006.
She served on the Wills, Trust and Estates Certification Committee of The Florida Bar for six years during which she held the offices of Vice-Chair and Chair. The Certification Committee is a nine member committee which writes and grades the annual certification test administered to Florida lawyers seeking board certification in the Wills, Trusts and Estates Law.
Dorothy also previously served as Vice-Chair of the Probate and Trust Professionalism Committee of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Dorothy has also served on subcommittees for Real Property, Probate & Trust Section of the American Bar Association, including serving as Vice-Chair of the Social Security and other Government Benefits Section.
In addition, Dorothy has served on the board of directors of the Humane Society Naples from 2001 - 2012 and also served on the Eden Florida Advisory Board for autistic services.
